This procedure applies to Network Rail maintenance staff who undertake the retrieval, checking and storage of data from logging systems or event recorders as part of preventative or corrective maintenance.

Purpose

This document details the process of retrieving, checking and storing data from signalling logging systems connected to or part of interlockings, control systems or control centres. It also covers the process of retrieving, checking and storing data from signalling event recorders that are permanently or temporary connected to signalling equipment.
