Scope and Applicability.

This instruction applies to Navy Supply Corps officers serving in designated expeditionary billets as determined by Commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (COMNAVEXPDCMBTCOM) and Commander, Naval Special Warfare Command (COMNAVSPECWARCOM) or U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) Enterprise.

Purpose.

To issue requirements and procedures for designation as a qualified Navy Expeditionary Supply Corps officer. This revision includes the change of requirements for officers who previously completed an expeditionary logistics tour in a qualifying billet; they must meet the requirements in paragraph 6 as grandfathering is no longer effective. This instruction is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
