Scope and Applicability.
This instruction applies to all organizations that intend to participate in the DON MILCAP program.
Purpose.
To define responsibilities and prescribe procedures for the administration, operation and reporting of the Department of the Navy (DON) Military Cash Awards Program (MILCAP) authorized by references (a) through (g).
a. Major revisions include the amount of the cash award at the different approval authority levels and updated submission forms.
b. This instruction has been administratively revised and should be reviewed in its entirety.
