Scope and Applicability.

This instruction applies to all organizations that intend to participate in the DON SERB and receive DoD STP services.

Purpose.

a. To establish management and coordination procedures for Department of the Navy (DON) participation in the Department of Defense (DoD) Space Test Program (STP).

b. To ensure effective working relationships and responsive interface with the Department of the Air Force on STP matters.

c. This revision incorporates space vehicle certification requirements for DON Space Experiments Review Board (SERB) free-flying spacecraft proposals. This is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
