scope:

The scope of this DS/INFO 1234 is to: - Briefly present the safety format and acceptance criteria, including the associated simplified structural reliability analysis procedure(s), which underlies ISO 19902 (and partially ISO 19901-9), including associated conditions and limitations - To communicate key observations and new knowledge from the offshore industry that has an impact of the standards safety format and associated methods; especially how it impacts the structures in the Danish part of the North Sea - Provide early and provisional guidance where possible on how to mitigate the challenges raised for both new and/or existing structure. This being based on published studies, guidelines and/or other standards - Provide essential extracts and requirements relative to the Danish legislation within health, safety and risk. These covered by the Danish Offshore Safety Act and associated regulations; supervised by the DWEA This DS/INFO 1234 should continuously be updated based on new knowledge and best practice emerging in the offshore industry.
