This document provides guidance for emergency situations involving transportation by road of bulk LNG on public highways.

Note 1: It does not give advice for emergency situations involving LNG being used as a vehicle fuel supply, except where the bulk transport vehicle also happens to be fuelled by LNG.

Note 2: It does not give advice for emergency situations on private sites, filling stations or areas already covered by operator's on-site emergency response plans.

This document is applicable to LNG transport in the United Kingdom.
