This Technical Report gives for each material family and for each strength classification recommendations for national materials which can be used for the manufacture of relevant products.
These materials indicate the interchangeability of the concerned products. This Technical Report is not to be taken as a table of ensured equivalent materials.
Invalid materials (not for new design) are for reference only.
This Technical Report is applicable for manufacturing bearings and/or bearing parts which meet the requirements of the following technical specifications:
- EN 2755 (EN 2064);
- EN 4540;
- EN 2337;
- EN 2311;
- EN 2068;
- EN 2067;
- EN 6099;
- EN 2601;
- EN 3280 (EN 2063);
- EN 3727;
- or when it is referenced.
