Purpose of This Order.

This order provides guidance to all personnel in the administration of the Flight Procedures and Airspace Program. It defines responsibilities regarding terminal instrument procedure development and maintenance service provided by the FAA for the USAF at domestic airports where the FAA has instrument procedure design authority under Department of Transportation (DOT), FAA, Department of Defense (DoD), and USAF Memorandum of Agreement effective July 7, 1978. This order contains guidance that is pertinent to Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, (14 CFR) Part 97, Standard Instrument Procedures.
