scope:
Purpose
To inform Network Rail staff that;
1) the current suspension of the Thermit HRW process (PA05/03610) remains in place;
2) due to the length of time since initial suspension being over 2 years, TW5c competency is to be withdrawn;
3) a revised HRW process is being developed and will be submitted for new Product Approval;
4) a new competency will also be developed, and all staff will require retraining on the HRW process.
