scope:
1. This Directive applies to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Military Services, the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Unified and Specified Commands, and the Defense Agencies (hereafter referred to as "DoD Components"). The term "Military Services," as used above, refers to the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
2. It also applies to other federal agencies that elect to participate in the DoD MWD Program.
