This commercial item description (CID) covers vertical contour metal cutting bandsaws with nonpower-feeding worktables. Vertical contour bandsaws are used for metal contour cutting operations and internal cutting operations whereby the saw blade is cut, inserted into the workpiece pilot hole, and then welded back together to complete the sawing operation. The bandsaws covered by this CID are intended for use in Aircraft Metals Technology Shops across the Air Force. The equipment identified herein should be manufactured in the United States of America.
