Scope and Applicability.
Provisions of this instruction apply to Active Duty, Training and Administration of Reserve and Ready Reserve members on long-term Active Duty orders.
Purpose.
To revise policy and assign responsibility for Navy voluntary education (VOLED), in line with references (a) through (i). This revision incorporates new management controls, redefines roles and responsibilities resulting from VOLED reorganization and incorporates policy guidance from reference (a). This instruction is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
