This Guidance Note applies to premises owned by Network Rail and leased to third parties (excluding Network Rail Managed Stations and TOC estate premises which are covered by their own Guidance Note). It also applies to contractors appointed by Network Rail to work within such premises.

Although this document primarily refers to Spacia, other Departments manage the LET Estate within Network Rail. These departments should use this Guidance Note as far as practicable to ensure compliance with The Company Fire Safety Handbook NR/CS/FIR/100.

Purpose

This Guidance Note provides guidance to all staff with responsibility for the management of fire safety within the LET Estate. The document sets out guidance for implementation of the fire safety policy deliverables contained within the Fire Safety Handbook NR/CS/FIR/100.
