Structures to be examined include Network Rail owned or managed Structures including Major Structures, Outside Party Structures and Shared Structures.
Purpose
The purpose of this part of the handbook is to define the type of examinations required to be carried out as part of an examination regime for Structures.
An examination of a Structure shall be sufficient to enable information to be obtained from which the safety and fitness for purpose of the Structure can be evaluated.
