This specification covers two types of liquid oxygen quick-disconnect coupling assemblies and coupling halves.

Coupling assemblies shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2b):

Type I - Supply coupling assemblies Type II - Vent coupling assemblies

intended Use:

The couplings are intended for use in aircraft liquid oxygen systems to uncouple the line without draining the system and without undue loss of liquid oxygen.
