This SAE Aerospace Information Report (AIR) guides buyers and users of power tools in the evaluation, selection, and use of power tools for economy, efficiency, and safety. It intended to be a "layman's guide" and supports the application of the SAE Aerospace Standard AS6228, which provides guidance for a scientific and engineering audience focusing upon manufacturers and engineering developers.
