This process covers the maintenance of Network Rail direct maintained telecoms assets.

This process applies to you if:

• You manage or supervise operational telecoms maintenance teams or technical support staff.

• You maintain operational telecoms equipment.

• You check or review operational telecoms maintenance work.

• You are responsible for planning operational telecoms maintenance.

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to define the roles and responsibilities in the planning of routine maintenance activities of telecom assets to fit in with the national planning process and timescales. It applies to Network Rail maintenance staff.
