Introduction
Most railway signs which are required to be retro-reflective are
referenced to BS873: Part 6 and divide the requirement into Class 1
(most reflective), Class 2 or Non-retroreflective.
The new standard is not exactly equivalent to the old but, for practical purposes, references may be converted.
