This instruction applies to all persons engaged in the maintenance of CCTV cameras used by Network Rail and/or the SFO.
Purpose
This instruction defines the requirements for an inspection regime by the telecoms maintainers of CCTV cameras used by Network Rail and/or the SFO.
The purpose of undertaking maintenance is to ensure that CCTV cameras are functional and to identify defects before they become service effecting.
This instruction does not cover cameras used in DOO CCTV systems, the maintenance of which is detailed in NR/WI/TEL/30072.
