This specification applies to all systems for protection of track feeder sections on 650/750 V d.c. electrified lines including auxiliary supplies to depots etc. where the track feeder circuit breakers provide the protection but excluding those installations where separate sub-circuit protection is provided.
Purpose
This specification states the requirements for the calculation of settings for protection against short circuit faults between the positive and negative circuits of track feeder sections.
