This document covers the installation, setting up and basic fault finding of the TPWS UPS system. Maintenance of the TPWS UPS system will be covered separately.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this Technical Guidance Note (TGN) is to explain how to design, install, set up and fault find the TPWS UPS. It should be read in conjunction with TPWS/TGN/007 and TPWS/TGN/009. A TPWS UPS installation, operation and maintenance course is being developed by Catalis Rail Training Ltd which will incorporate the content of this TGN in due course.
