scope:

This Procedure applies to hazards on Railtrack's Controlled Infrastructure, its access points, and other locations (such as stations, sidings etc.) deemed appropriate by the Zone Director.

Hazards listed in the directory shall be of a permanent or semi-permanent nature, not of a temporary nature such as a missing drain cover. Such hazards should be notified to the Railtrack Contractor responsible for their repair.

Purpose

To provide the minimum specification for the contents of a Zone Hazard Directory, together with the upkeep and publication arrangements so that contractors and others can be supplied with current details of systematic hazards at a site specific location.
