Suppliers registered with Link-up who have 'auditable' Product Codes.

Additionally, suppliers prioritised by Network Rail as:

a) 'Principal Contractors' - who may be, or are, working on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure as Principal Contractor.

b) 'Rail Plant Operating Company in Possessions' - those organisations operating rail plant only in engineering possessions on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure.

NOTE 1 - 'Management Systems' items listed under "Confirming arrangements meet specified requirements" are assessed:

initially, to confirm that the management system meets the requirements specified in this document and referenced documents.

where arrangements have changed materially since the last assessment, to establish that the management system continues to meet the specified requirements.

NOTE 2 - 'Management Process' items listed under "Confirming implementation of the arrangements" are assessed:

periodically, to establish that the management system is being adequately implemented.

Purpose

This document sets out the core management system requirements for suppliers of products and services that import risk onto Network Rail Managed Infrastructure. The document should also be used by Network Rail prioritised suppliers to assure themselves that their core management systems meet Network Rail's requirements.
