Purpose

Interoperability regulations are in force and it is important to ensure that projects are correctly assessed to arrive at the appropriate decision. It is for the company to assess whether a project is interoperable is for the company to take before recommending to the DfT that a project be interoperable or not. It is for the DfT to decide ultimately if a project is interoperable. This work instruction defines how company assessment is undertaken and the steps taken after the project has become interoperable.
