This procedure applies to all Railtrack Zones in respect of any vehicle which activates WILD equipment.
PURPOSE
This procedure aims to reduce the risk of rail damage that is associated with wheel impact forces in excess of 200kN. It does this by defining the minimum requirements that a Zone should have in place for four levels of WILD equipment activation.
