This process applies to all personnel who are involved in the reporting, assessment, repair (both temporary and permanent), collation and claims for all third party damage occurring to infrastructure assets.
Purpose
To provide a process so that when damage to the infrastructure is caused by a third party, the incurred cost of remedial work, plant and materials is recorded and collated so that claims can be processed by Network Rail for re-imbursement. Third party incidents are identified from the Route Fault Control Managers Organisation (RFC) log
