Dieser Teil von ISO 22391 enthält Empfehlungen für die Beurteilung der Konformität von Erzeugnissen und Bauteilkombinationen entsprechend der anderen jeweils zutreffenden Teile von ISO 22391, die als Teil des Qualitätsmanagementsystems im Qualitätssicherungsplan des Herstellers und für die Einführung von Verfahren der Zertifizierung vorgesehen sind.

Zusammen mit den übrigen Teilen gilt dieser Teil von ISO 22391 für Rohrleitungssysteme, die in der Warmund Kaltwasserinstallation innerhalb von Gebäuden für den Transport von Trink- oder Brauchwasser (Hausinstallation) sowie für Heizungsanlagen unter Berücksichtigung des betreffenden zulässigen Betriebsdruckes und der für die jeweilige Anwendungsklasse geltenden Temperaturen eingesetzt werden.
