Der allgemeine Anwendungsbereich dieser Norm ist in DIN 27200:2011-11, Abschnitt 1 und 3.1, festgelegt.
Diese Norm gilt für Einstiegtüren der Bauart Drehtüren für Fahrgasträume von:
a) Reisezugwagen;
b) Triebwagen;
c) Triebzügen.
Für Eisenbahnfahrzeuge mit abweichenden Bauarten ist diese Norm sinngemäß anzuwenden.
Die bildlichen Darstellungen in der Norm tragen beispielhaften Charakter.
