scope:
This Standard is to be applied when sub-standard conditions are detected within the rolling stock asset.
It shall be used within the rolling stock discipline to define processes leading to formalising agreed short-term controls and mitigation. For post incident arrangements Rule Book 2 shall be applied.
Purpose
The business objective of this Standard is to manage risk effectively and to maximise rolling stock availability under abnormal circumstances.
