scope:
Purpose. To establish policies and procedures for the Law Education Program (LEP) for the Department of the Navy, under section 2004 of reference (a) and reference (b). This instruction is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
Applicability. The provisions of this instruction apply to all officers on the active duty list of the Navy and Marine Corps and all Navy Training and Administration of Reserves (TAR) officers (except officers in the Medical, Dental, and Nurse Corps). Detailed program guidance is included in enclosures (1) and (2).
