La presente Norma si applica a trasformatori trifase di distribuzione di tipo a secco con frequenza di 50 Hz, da 100 kVA a 3150 kVA e con una tensione massima per il componente non superiore a 36 kV. Essa fornisce le prescrizioni generali.
La presente Norma sostituisce le Norme CEI 14-12:1998-04 e CEI 14-18:1997-12 che rimangono applicabili fino al 02-01-2014.
Questa Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua inglese in quanto particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
