La presente Norma è parte della serie riguardante i trasformatori a secco di serie di cui alla CEI 14-12. Essa si applica ai trasformatori a due avvolgimenti:
- AT con una tensione massima per il componente uguale a 36 kV.
- BT con una tensione massima per il componente non superiore a 1,1 kV.
Lo scopo consiste nell'indicare le prescrizioni relative alle caratteristiche elettriche, alle dimensioni ed alla progettazione.
La presente Norma é annullata e sostituita dalla Nuova Norma, CEI EN 50541:2011-11 (CEI 14-44), tuttavia rimane applicabile fino al 2-01-2014.
