This specification shall apply to all screws and bolts according to the current aviation standards or drawings which refer to this specification. No special requirements such as weldability, high-temperature stability (at temperatures exceding 300 °C) and sub-zero toughness (below -50°C) shall be placed on these screws or bolts of unalloyed and low-alloy steel.
