PREPARATION OF UNION FOR INSTALLATION
Union and O-ring are submerged in the system fluid. The installation of the O-ring into the ring groove of the union follows. An O-ring installation toll is to be used for this to prevent the sharp edges of the thread from damaging the O-ring. A short-time stretching of the O-ring is permissible, but sufficient time for contraction must be allowed after assembly.
