The present document describes the specification for a high performance External Power Supply Unit for powering the Customer Premises Equipment to a maximum voltage rating of 5 V dc.

The specifications define the input, output characteristics and performance requirements for a switching mode AC to DC CPS rated to a maximum 5 V dc and maximum 2 A.

The present document also specifies tests to verify the compliance of the external CPS.
