Restricted Chemical Substances

Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification.

APPLICATION

This specification covers material requirements for tapered roller bearings to be used in wheel end applications. The bearing steels covered by this specification may be of two types:

Type 1 - Case hardened (carburized)

Type 2 - Through-hardened
