This method determines the ability of petroleum oils, or a mixture of petroleum oils and auxiliary solvent, to separate from the water phase of treating plant cylinder and work tank drainings and/or effluent.
This method is used as a guide to plant operators in selecting treating oils and is not intended to be a conformance test.
