This method covers the determination of the total acidity of a dry chemical sample expressed as the pentachlorophenol content of the sample.
This Standard does not distinguish between pentachlorophenol and other chlorinated phenols. Thus all phenols, as well as other acidic compounds present, will be included as pentachlorophenol in the determination.
