Diese Europäische Norm behandelt Ausrüstungen, die verwendet werden, um eine gasdichte Verbindung zwischen dem Transporttank und den stationären Befüll- und Entladeeinrichtungen herzustellen.

In dieser Europäischen Norm sind die Leistungsanforderungen und die wesentlichen Maße der VKGKupplung am Transporttank und der MKG-Kupplung am Rohrleitungssystem der stationären Befüll- und Entladeeinrichtungen festgelegt. Weiterhin sind die Prüfungen festgelegt, mit denen nachgewiesen werden kann, ob die Ausrüstung den Anforderungen dieser Norm entspricht. Die in dieser Europäischen Norm beschriebene Ausrüstung ist zum Umfüllen flüssiger Erdölerzeugnisse und anderer gefährlicher Güter der Klasse 3 des ADR [2] geeignet, deren Dampfdruck bei 50 °C max. 110 kPa beträgt (einschließlich Ottokraftstoff) und die nicht als giftig oder ätzend eingestuft sind.
