This National Annex contains national provisions relating to the design and construction of bridges in seismic regions, that are to be taken into consideration when applying DIN EN 1998-2:2010-12 in Germany.

Alternative simplified design criteria and verification procedures for approximately straight beam bridges and the conditions under which they can be applied are given in Annex NA.A.

This National Annex is only valid in conjunction with DIN EN 1998-2:2010-12.
