Die vorliegende Europäische Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Messung der Eindringtiefe in Gussasphalt fest, wenn bei einer festgelegten Temperatur, einer festgelegten Beanspruchung und für eine bestimmte Zeit ein genormter zylindrischer Prüfstempel mit einer kreisrunden flachen Grundfläche in diesen Asphalt eindringt. Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Gussasphalt mit einer maximalen Nennkorngröße gleich oder kleiner als 16 mm.
