Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Laborprüfverfahren zur Ermittlung der Wirkung von extremen Umweltbedingungen auf ein Befestigungssystem fest.

Dieses Prüfverfahren gilt für ein komplettes Schienenbefestigungssystem und eingebetteten Schienen mit mechanischen Befestigungen. Es ist nicht anwendbar für eingebettete Schienensysteme, die haftenden Bauteile zur Befestigung der Schiene verwenden.
