scope:
The standard specifies fire classification of building materials. A building material is here understood to be a kind of material from which a building is made (part of the construction, covering, coating, doors etc), and it must be made completely from the same substance or from substances mixed in a homogen way. The classification is only related to testing in accordance to ISO 1182:1990.
