This is a guide that describes the procedures for creating GMP specifications. Revising GMP specifications, and approving molding compounds to these specifications. It also defines the responsibilities of the people and groups who interact in these processes.

This guide shall be studied, as well as the Instructions in the GM Plastic Molding Compound Certification Package (GM5045) to understand how the GMP specification system works, Questions can be directed to Specialist Team Leaders and/or GM Materials Engineers. If help is needed to understand or execute designated responsibilities, contact the Secretary of the GM Plastics TDG.
