This module of NR/L2/EBM/STP001 specifies the process for:
1) managing deviations for both Network Rail standards and Railway Group Standards (RGS); and
2) approving delegated authority to manage deviations for Network Rail standards on behalf of the Standard Owner.
Deviations to Network Rail standards that are identified and closed within 14 days do not need to be entered into the Network Rail non-compliance database and are not within the scope of this standard.
Purpose
The purpose of this module is to provide a structured approach to the management of deviations from Network Rail standards and Railway Group Standards.
