QUALIFIED PRODUCT LIST OF PRODUCTS QUALIFIED UNDER PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION SAE-AS8914 BEARING, ROLLER, SELF-ALIGNING, AIRFRAME, ANTIFRICTION
This list has been prepared for use by or for the Government in the acquisition of products covered by the subject non-Government standard and such listing of a product is not intended to and does not connote endorsement of the product by the Department of Defense. All products listed herein have been qualified under the requirements for the product as specified in the latest adopted issue of the applicable non-Governement standard. This list is subject to change without notice; revision or amendment of this list will be issued as necessary. The listing of a product does not release the manufacturer from compliance with the non-Government standard requirements.
THE ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS QUALIFIED PRODUCTS DATASET IS THE NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (ATTENTION: COMMANDER, NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION, CODE 41K000B120-3, HIGHWAY 547, LAKEHURST, NJ 08733-5100).
THE ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE FOR QUALIFICATION APPROVAL IS THE NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND, (CODE 4.3.5.3), 48110 SHAW ROAD, BLDG. 2187, PATUXENT RIVER, MD 20670-1908.
When an item is required by the non-Government standard but not listed on the QPL, or suppliers are not in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, the Contracting Officer or his representative is required to contact the Naval Air Systems Command (Code 4.3.5.3), 48110 Shaw Road, Bldg 2187, Patuxent River, MD for guidance.

Note 1. Provisions Government Procurement. Procurement of these bearings shall be in accordance with FAR 52.225-3 (Buy American Act) and D. FAR 52.225-7012 (Preference for Domestic Specialty Metals). The contractor should include these provisions in every subcontract and purchase order.
