This part of EN 581 specifies the mechanical safety requirements and test methods of outdoor tables for camping, domestic and contract use for adults, except permanently fixed tables and street furniture, without regard to materials, design/construction or manufacturing processes. This standard does not apply to outdoor furniture for severe contract use where higher requirements may be necessary.
