National foreword This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 29 "Small tools", Subcommittee SC 8 "Tools for pressing and moulding" (Secretariat: AFNOR, France).
The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Werkzeuge und Spannzeuge (Tools and Clamping Devices Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 121-03-02 AA Werkzeuge der Stanztechnik.
The text of ISO 10243/A1:2011 has been adopted in this standard without any modification.
Amendment A1:2011 contains technical changes to DIN ISO 10243:2010-11, Tools for pressing - Compression springs with rectangular section - Housing dimensions and colour coding.
The Amendment refers only to Table 5, hole diameter DH = 40 mm.
