Die ATV DIN 18307 „Druckrohrleitungsarbeiten außerhalb von Gebäuden" gilt für Arbeiten an Druckrohrleitungen zum Transport von gasförmigen und flüssigen Stoffen außerhalb von Gebäuden auch in Schutzrohren und Rohrkanälen.

Die ATV DIN 18307 gilt nicht für

- die bei der Herstellung von Druckrohrleitungen auszuführenden Erdarbeiten (siehe ATV DIN 18300 „Erdarbeiten"),

- Verbauarbeiten (siehe ATV DIN 18303 „Verbauarbeiten") sowie

- das Herstellen von Rohrleitungen innerhalb von Gebäuden (siehe ATV DIN 18381 „Gas-, Wasser- und Entwässerungsanlagen innerhalb von Gebäuden").

Ergänzend gilt die ATV DIN 18299 „Allgemeine Regelungen für Bauarbeiten jeder Art", Abschnitte 1 bis 5. Bei Widersprüchen gehen die Regelungen der ATV DIN 18307 vor.
