scope:

The Reporting and Investigation Manual contains the requirements and associated guidance for the reporting and investigation of accidents and incidents.

This standard:

a) specifies the process for proposals for change to the requirements and guidance within the Reporting and Investigation Manual;

b) contains the 'Contents and Responsibilities Matrix' (see Appendix A) for the Reporting and Investigation Manual;

c) specifies the requirements for revising the 'Contents and Responsibilities Matrix'.

Purpose

To specify the requirements for reviewing and revising the modules forming the Reporting and Investigation Manual.
